Interested in engaging in service to a professional society?
The Herpetologists’ League has a need for member involvement at several levels. We are actively seeking members to help with the following:
• Communications Secretary: we are in great need of someone who is responsive and saavy with social media (Facebook, Twitter) to post information and opportunities relevant to our society from time to time;
• We need members to serve as representatives on various committees, such as one that oversees the joint HL/Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles (SSAR) auction held at the annual Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists (JMIH); a JMIH Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee; a committee to address improvements to our website, and several others.
